2. How We Collect and Use Personal Information

We collect and use personal information for the purposes described in this Policy.

(1) Core functions: providing the Authorized Software and the Services

We may collect, retain, and use the following information to provide these functions. If you do not provide required information, some Services may not be available:

1. Account registration. To create an account, you may need to provide an email address, phone number, and password.

2. Third-party sign-in. If you sign in through a third-party provider, we may receive the account identifier, display name, avatar, and other information you authorize that provider to share. The third party's own privacy policy also applies to its processing.

3. Service delivery and license verification. We use account, license, device, and order information to authenticate your access, verify applicable licenses, provide technical support, and maintain the Services.

4. Cloud features. When you upload data to use a cloud feature, we process that data to provide the requested feature. De-identified data may be used to improve models and service quality.

5. Product improvement. We analyze software, device, log, and usage information to troubleshoot, develop features, improve compatibility, personalize support, and understand how the Services are used.

6. AI features. If you submit images, models, or other materials to an AI feature, we process them to return the requested result. We apply technical and organizational safeguards and de-identification measures where appropriate.

7. Security and fraud prevention. We use browsing, account, order, software, device, and log information to detect abuse, phishing, unauthorized access, and other security risks.

8. Customer support. We use account, order, device, software, correspondence, screenshots, documents, and support communications to verify your identity and resolve issues. We may send service notices about agreements, policy changes, and important product updates.

9. Payments. When you purchase a Service, we share the order number, amount, and transaction details necessary for the selected payment provider to process the payment.

10. Analytics. We may use aggregated or otherwise permitted personal information for statistical and business analysis.

11. Legal compliance. We process information as necessary to comply with applicable laws, regulations, court orders, and industry standards.

(2) Information obtained indirectly

1. We may receive account, device, software, and log information from affiliates when you link or use their services, as permitted by law and your authorization.

2. We may receive account information that a third-party provider shares with your consent and link it to your GenAnywhere account.

3. We may receive information from partners when you use a partner service together with the Services, to verify identity, maintain compatibility, and monitor service quality.

4. If a partner transfers a related business, product, or service to us, relevant account, device, software, and log information may be transferred to ensure continuity.

5. If you purchase through a reseller or agent, we may receive the order and contact information needed to fulfill that purchase.

3. Sharing, Transfer, and Public Disclosure

(1) We do not share personal information with companies, organizations, or individuals outside GenAnywhere except in the following circumstances:

1. With your explicit consent.

2. When required by law, a government request, court order, or other lawful process.

3. With affiliates for authentication, customer service, security, fraud monitoring, analytics, and related legitimate purposes. We share only information that is necessary.

4. With authorized service providers and partners that support hosting, analytics, customer service, payments, security, and other Services. They may use information only for the contracted purpose and must protect it.

(2) If GenAnywhere or an affiliate is involved in a merger, division, liquidation, acquisition, or sale of assets or business, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will require the recipient to protect the information consistently with this Policy or obtain a new authorization where required.

(3) We may publicly disclose information when necessary to protect the rights, safety, or property of GenAnywhere, our users, or the public; investigate fraud or security incidents; or comply with applicable law.

4. How We Protect and Retain Personal Information

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including access controls, encryption where appropriate, logging, and personnel policies, to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to provide the Services, fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. When retention is no longer necessary, we delete or anonymize the information where reasonably practicable.

5. Access, Correction, and Account Deletion

You may access or correct certain account information through the Services. You may request deletion of your account or personal information by contacting help@wingsengine.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request and may retain information where required by law or for legitimate security and dispute-resolution purposes.

6. Protection of Minors

The Services are not directed to children who are under the minimum age required by applicable law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child without appropriate parental or guardian authorization. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so that we can take appropriate action.

7. International Transfers

GenAnywhere and its service providers may process and store personal information in countries or regions different from where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers and protect the information in accordance with applicable law.

8. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We may use cookies, local storage, pixels, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, measure usage, improve security, and understand how the Services perform. You can manage cookies through your browser settings, but disabling them may affect certain functions.

9. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Policy when the Services, technology, or applicable law changes. We will post the updated version and revise the effective date. Material changes may be communicated through the Services or by other appropriate means. Your continued use after the effective date means that you accept the updated Policy.

10. Scope and Contact

This Policy applies to the Authorized Software and the Services operated by GenAnywhere unless a separate privacy notice is provided. It does not apply to third-party products, services, or websites linked from the Services. Please review those third parties' privacy policies before using them.
